Entered into a close business partnership with Japan Gas Chemical Co., Inc. (currently Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc.).<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>October 1961<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchanges.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>March 1962<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Started manufacturing of diallyl phthalate molding materials. Capital increased to 375 million yen.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>October 1969<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>TOMEI CHEMICAL Co., Ltd. , a phenol resin molding material manufacturing company, was founded at Seto City in Aichi Prefecture.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>April 1970<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Started manufacturing of large, low-foam molded plastic products at the Hiratsuka Plant.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>April 1972<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Started manufacturing of unsaturated polyester molding materials.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>April 1976<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Succeeded in the productization of reinforced phenolic resin for use as a metal substitute in the machinery industry.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>April 1981<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Started sale of reinforced phenolic resin parts for machine tools (machining centers), as well as carbon-fiber composite phenolic resin parts.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>December 1987<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Absorbed and merged Fudow Chemical Co., Ltd. and enhanced and expanded the development of large molded products. Capital reached 550 million yen.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>December 1989<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Absorbed and merged three related subsidiaries (Central Kasei Co., Ltd., Taiyo Sangyo Co., Ltd. and Fudow Trading Co., Ltd.) and changed the corporate name to Fudow Co., Ltd.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>June 1991<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Increased capital to 1.058 billion yen.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>October 2001<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Transferred the manufacturing base for thermosetting resin molding materials to the new Fujinomiya Plant.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>November 2001<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Moved the Head Office to 7-20-5, Nishi-Kamata, Ota-ku, Tokyo.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>September 2002<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Succeeded the business rights for xylene resins from Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>February 2003<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Changed the corporate name of the related subsidiary Tomei Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. to Fudow Techno Corporation to be organized into a production affiliate.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>April 2003<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. through share exchange.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>April 2005<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Split-off the Taiyo Sangyo Division as the subsidiary Taiyo Sangyo Co., Ltd.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>March 2007<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Made Y.K.M. Co., Ltd. a subsidiary.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>October 2008<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Absorbed and merged Macroboard, Co., Ltd. to establish the Gamagori Plant.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>May 2010<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Relocated the Head Office to Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>November 2010<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Introduced autoclave equipment to the Research &amp; Development Division (Fujinomiya Plant).<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>January 2012<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Added a D-type granulating machine (for polyester resin) to achieve the successful order taking of terminals for smart meters.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>December 2013<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Established Tsubakimoto Fudow Machinery Attachments (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. in Tianjin, People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/dd>\r\n \t<dt>December 2014<\/dt>\r\n \t<dd>Introduced a five-axis processing machine to Y.K.M.
